CCM’s STORY

In 1998, Fred G. Ellis, a cowboy poet with a deep love for the Lord, was performing in Leadville Colorado when God softly spoke to his heart saying "Take your show into the prisons and give a gospel message." Never asking why, Fred obeyed and God started CCM. As programs grew in the ministry Fred realized the need to incorporate and obtain a 501c3 classification. This was done in 2002 and 2005 respectively. The Board of CCM has been together since incorporating and consists of Tim Nolting President, Jeff Anslinger Vice-President and Fred G. Ellis Executive Director. All three are strongly committed Christians, outstanding Cowboy Poets and exceptional speakers and performers.

Since its conception, no person involved with the administration of this ministry has ever drawn a salary, this includes the Board members. All gifts, donations and regular support are used to cover the ministries expenses and to fund various projects.

CCM’s prison ministry has always been and will always be our primary program. God, however, has provided many opportunities for the Board to use their talents as Christian speakers and wholesome entertainers. Make sure you click on personal appearances for more information.
